The crime show “The Mentalist focuses on Simon Baker as Patrick Jane, who works as a consultant to the California Bureau of Investigation. Having amazing observational skills, Patrick uses his ability to solve baffling crimes. Having been a psychic and a mentalist in the past these paranormal abilities also aid him to his task of solving crimes. When his quest for crime solving brought on his tail a serial killer who killed his wife and daughter, Patrick lost all his hopes.

Malcolm McDowell will be Patrick Jane’s Alex, a twisted nihilistic leader of a religious cult, and the series producers admit that his performance will definitely send audiences at the edge of their seats.

McDowell appears in Halloween by Rob Zombie, and the favourite of many “Heroes” known as the unknown full of mystery Linderman, and Entourage, as the mentor of Ari Gold, nemesis and mentor as Terrence. He also portrayed the character of Ricardo Montalban of the 1998 movie Fantasy Island.
