In just few weeks a new character will be featured in the television series “The Mentalist”. Reports confirm that actor Pruitt Taylor Vince is the newest addition to the cast of the show.

Pruitt Taylor Vince will portray the role of Special Agent J.J. Laroche. No details have been said as to how Special Agent J.J Laroche will affect the team.

With the airing of the most recent episode of the hit CBS show, there is more clear idea of what is the role of Laroche in the show. The most recent episode of “The Mentalist” ended with the death of Red John. With this, laroche will take charge in leading the investigation of the suspects from the CBI team including Rigsby, Van Pelt and Cho.

According to the statement released by Tom Szentgyorgyi, executive producer of “The Mentalist”, the various episodes will tackle the growing suspicion of each suspect. However, Szentgyorgyi did not reveal how Red John is involved with these CBIs. Instead, he said that the investigation will have a twist and that there will be a shift in drama in the team.
